Lou Leventhal is extremely passionate about two things:  Making the name of Jesus known, and seeing others come to experience Jesus' transforming love, grace, and power in their lives.  Lou has been in ministry for more than 35 years, and loves walking alongside people on their faith journeys. 

 

Lou loves God's Word, and feels privileged to teach it through Sunday morning messages, in small groups or in other contexts.  He also thoroughly enjoys getting to know people, no matter where they are in life.  He highly values transparency, being genuine, and walking in humility and strives to grow in these character traits in his own life. 

Lou lives in Saskatoon with his wife Martha (they have been married since 1984). They have three adult kids — Joshua, Hannah, and Sarah (married to Ryan), and one grandson, Isaac.  The Leventhals deeply love the city of Saskatoon and have ministered here for the majority of their adult lives. Lou is grateful to pastor in a city where churches love one another and serve God together. Christian unity, with the Gospel as our foundation, is something that Lou prays and works for as God allows.
