GOOD FRIDAY
Remembering Jesus' Sacrifice
Friday, April 3 at 6:30pm
Ebenezer Baptist Church
We invite you to join us for our Good Friday Service at 15:5 Church.
We will gather in the Chapel at Ebenezer Baptist Church to remember the sacrifice which Jesus Christ paid for our sins when He died on the cross.
Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
- Romans 5:7-8
The service, which will be just over one hour in length, will reflect on the last hours of Jesus' life before he died. Incorporating scripture reading, video, music, the Lord's Supper and other creative opportunities to respond, we trust this service will be a powerful part of your Easter remembrance. Although the content of the Good Friday story is violent in nature, we attempt to tell an accurate account of the story in a way that remains “family friendly.”
We encourage our families to celebrate the remembrance of Good Friday together, and for this reason we will not be providing alternate 15:5 Kids programming during our Good Friday service.
