Thank you for your interest in contributing to the 25 Christmas Gift Bags for the residents of Porteous Lodge.

 

You can either bring your items to the theatre on Sunday or arrange to drop off at the Church office during the week (#123 – 412 Willowgrove Square).

 

If you would prefer not to shop for items yourself - you can make an additional financial contribution to the church and designate your gift for “Porteous Lodge.” We will shop for items that are needed to complete the gift bags.

Feel free to purchase only what you are able. There is no obligation to purchase all items for an entire gift bag. Some may be able to purchase items for several gift bags.

Below are items needed for ALL of the 25 Gift Bags:

  • Chocolates

  • Shampoo

  • Conditioner

  • Lotion (non-scented)

  • Body wash

  • Deodorant

  • Puzzle books

  • Christmas cookies

  • Colouring books

There are also requests for some special items:*

  • Each year we collect a list of special items the residents are wanting. It might be a sports team shirt, a warm sweater or a pair of pyjamas. We will post a list of this year's "Special Items" once we receive it from Porteous Lodge.

* Before purchasing any of the special items listed above, please first contact Jennifer Bergen to make certain of the size, whether for a man or woman, etc. We don’t want to duplicate any gifts or leave any requests unanswered.
